Cupcakes from the Baby Shower

I made some chocolate cupcakes for my soon to be Sister-in-laws recent baby shower. It was my first time piping.

My Mom's Dessert

This is my mom's dessert. It's an angle food cake sliced in layers & then she put the mix for lemon marange pie between the layers & the marange over top it. Apparently it was delicious (I'm not a fan of lemon marange) but it's not very pretty.

Daiquiri Pie

This Pie also comes from the Crazy Plates Cookbook. It's mostly made of frozen cool whip, there's more to it, but that's the main ingredient. It's super yummy! No after photo's this time, there wasn't anything left.

Light Cheesecake

This Cheesecake came from a cooking book called Crazy Plates. All the recipes in this cook book are made with light & calorie reduced ingredients. Everything my family has tried out of this book have been delicious!!!! Including this cake. Warning: these photo's may make you drool on your keyboard, keep some Kleenex near by. Enjoy!

Sugar Cookies

Some are pumpkins, some were supposed to be porcupines, but it was around Halloween so I made them monsters. The recipe is out of the Cornerbrook Cookbook, which is a cookbook made by the United Church of Canada from Cornerbrook. This cookbook has been with my family as long as I've been alive. The recipes never go wrong for use, the instructions are mostly easy to use, and they're just awesome. The Sugar cookies are a stable in my family, & they always go fast, stick some icing on them & YUM!!
