Found this recipe on Pinterest & I actually tried it, it's super yummy & so easy! Pillsbury cersaunts, chocolate chips & marshmallows. So yummy!

Chocolate Banana Bread

For Sunday dinner dessert this weekend I made Chocolate Banana Bread. As you can see from the pics, super yummy. Here's my tips for this bread & any other banana breads, freeze your banana's, it helps make them moist, and add an extra banana from what the recipe calls for. Also for my family I always take out the bread a little early so that there is a doughy part, which is the best part. Caution on the doughy part though, don't take it out too early because then you end up using a spoon with your bread & that's just weird.

Moose Tarts

I don't have a picture for this dessert, it was eaten before I got my camera, so I'll just describe it because it's really good & super easy. We purchased little tarts, moose, and some berries, strawberries, blackberries and blueberries. Basically you bake the tarts, puts some moose in it & then the berries on-top. Super easy dessert.

Easter Cake

Last weekend was Easter weekend. Great time for family dinners, even if you aren't celebrateing the religious aspect of the weekend, which I don't really anymore. Instead we celebrated food & an awesome cake! The cake is just a basic cake mix & the icing is store bought, but the design was the fun part. The design came out of a cake decorating book that I belive my mom has had it since I was a baby, it is geared towards kids, but there's a lot of fun stuff in it. The actual design for this little bunnie actualy includes a body, but we would have needed a 3rd cake, that's next year. We used strawberries for the ears & his nose, the eyes are raisins, my mom's idea, the whiskers are sprinkles i had left over, next time I'm either going to use different coloured icing.

Strawberry Shortcakes

If anyone tells you that these are hard, they're lying to you. I found my recipe in the Joy of Cooking, which is a great investment, but I'm sure it's out there on the interweb somewhere. Basically it's strawberries, with a little sugar, a simple biscuit cut in half & whipped cream. I whipped my own cream so that's why it looks like that. A note on home made whipped cream: electric mixer, trust me on that one.

Cupcakes from the Baby Shower

I made some chocolate cupcakes for my soon to be Sister-in-laws recent baby shower. It was my first time piping.
